Its a bat\u00adtle of the mind con\u00adtrollers: in one cor\u00adner, Emma Frost<\/a>, the White Queen<\/a>, one of the strongest telepaths on the plan\u00adet; in the oth\u00ader cor\u00adner, the Man\u00addrill<\/a>, whose enhanced pheromone pow\u00ader turns any female into his ador\u00ading ser\u00advant. But in any such con\u00adtest, the odds favor the smartest, and the Man\u00addrill was nev\u00ader known for being very bright.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Descrip\u00adtion:<\/em> Emma Frost was pam\u00adper\u00ading her\u00adself at a pres\u00adti\u00adgious day spa in San Fran\u00adcis\u00adco when a ruckus out\u00adside draws her atten\u00adtion and her ire at being inter\u00adrupt\u00aded. It seems the Man\u00addrill was using his mind con\u00adtrol pheromones to com\u00admand all of the women cus\u00adtomers at the spa to hand over all of their cash and valu\u00adables. Not that Emma has any con\u00adcern for her fel\u00adlow women, but she was<\/em> annoyed at hav\u00ading her time inter\u00adrupt\u00aded and at the pos\u00adtur\u00ading pompous\u00adness of the Man\u00addrill. Since her sec\u00adondary muta\u00adtion allows her to trans\u00adform into a dia\u00admond-hard form that does\u00adn\u2019t need to breathe, the Man\u00addrill\u2019s pheromones have no effect on her. But his<\/em> mind is like an open book to her, albeit she likens read\u00ading it to \u201cbathing in excre\u00adment<\/strong>\u201d, and that, for the poor Man\u00addrill is just how she pun\u00adish\u00ades him, by manip\u00adu\u00adlat\u00ading his mind. And then goes back to her spa session.<\/p>\n

Com\u00admen\u00adtary:<\/em> Emma Frost nev\u00ader real\u00adly got over being the impe\u00adri\u00adous White Queen from back in the days of the Hell\u00adfire Club: she\u2019s still haughty, bitchy, con\u00adtemp\u00adtu\u00adous and smug\u00adly supe\u00adri\u00ador, although she does reserve her worst for those who she thinks deserve it, in this case, the Mandrill.<\/p>\n
