In the most unusu\u00adal of all of the episodes of \u201cBat\u00adman: The Brave and the Bold\u201d<\/a><\/em>, an all-singing, all-danc\u00ading episode, where heroes and vil\u00adlains alike fall under pow\u00ader of the hyp\u00adnot\u00adic melodies of the Music Meister!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Descrip\u00adtion:<\/em> In \u2018The May\u00adhem of the Music Meis\u00adter!\u2019<\/em><\/a>, Black Man\u00adta, the Clock King and Grodd are out to sab\u00ado\u00adtage a com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtions satel\u00adlite with the intent of caus\u00ading world-wide chaos. For\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly, Aqua\u00adman, Black Canary and Green Arrow are on the scene to halt them. But when they all start\u00ading singing (begin\u00adning with the two most stuck-up char\u00adac\u00adters, Black Man\u00adta and Aqua\u00adman) and danc\u00ading, it is obvi\u00adous that anoth\u00ader play\u00ader has entered the game: the malev\u00ado\u00adlent\u00adly mes\u00admer\u00adiz\u00ading Music Meis\u00adter! Under his con\u00adtrol, they install a device to the satel\u00adlite that will enable him to broad\u00adcast his mes\u00admer\u00adiz\u00ading melodies to con\u00adtrol the entire world, all to the tune \u2018I\u2019m the Music Meister!\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

Bat\u00adman tracks down the Music Meis\u00adter to his lair, only to pre\u00adcip\u00adi\u00adtate a chase as the Music Meis\u00adter sings \u2019 Dri\u00adves Us Bats!\u2019<\/em> on his way to Arkham Asy\u00adlum where the pris\u00adon\u00aders all take up the cho\u00adrus when the Meis\u00adter releas\u00ades them. Under their com\u00adbined assault, Bat\u00adman is tak\u00aden pris\u00adon\u00ader, while the Music Meis\u00adter falls in love with Black Canary as she sings \u2018If Only\u2019<\/em> about her unre\u00adquit\u00aded love for Bat\u00adman. When she rejects him, she falls to a blast from his staff, where\u00adupon they both are put into a death\u00adtrap (to the tune \u2018Death\u00adtrap\u2019<\/em>.) Of course, death traps are no prob\u00adlem for the mas\u00adter escape artist, and togeth\u00ader they turn to Times Square to con\u00adfront the Music Meis\u00adter just as he puts every\u00adone who can hear his voice, which is the entire world! under his con\u00adtrol, singing \u2018The World Is Mine\u2019<\/em>. Its an unequal bat\u00adtle, and when Black Canary has her bat-earplugs tak\u00aden away and falls under the Meis\u00adter\u2019s pow\u00ader, Bat\u00adman chal\u00adlenges her to a singing duel. At the very high note, which trig\u00adgers Black Canary\u2019s Canary Cry son\u00adic pow\u00ader, Bat\u00adman cun\u00adning\u00adly seizes the Meis\u00adter\u2019s micro\u00adphone and broad\u00adcasts the Cry to every\u00adone lis\u00adten\u00ading, break\u00ading the Meis\u00adter\u2019s con\u00adtrol. After that, its one punch and the Music Meis\u00adter\u2019s music act is on a one-way road trip to Arkham Asylum.<\/p>\n

But that still leaves Black Canary to reprise \u2018If Only\u2019<\/em> as Bat\u00adman leaves to answer the Bat-Sig\u00adnal. But nev\u00ader fear, some\u00adone else heard her plain\u00adtive cry for love, Green Arrow, who responds with his own unre\u00adquit\u00aded love for her, and they find them\u00adselves in each oth\u00ader\u2019s arms.<\/p>\n

Com\u00admen\u00adtary:<\/em> All Singing! All Danc\u00ading! One of the best episodes of the series, one that got sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant praise, an Emmy nom\u00adi\u00adna\u00adtion, inde\u00adpen\u00addent release of the sound\u00adtrack and peo\u00adple cos\u00adplay\u00ading the Music Meis\u00adter at comics con\u00adven\u00adtions. Of course, it does\u00adn\u2019t hurt that the actors involved,\u00c2 Neil Patrick Har\u00adris<\/a> (Music Meis\u00adter) and Grey DeLisle<\/a> (Black Canary), are pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal singers as well as voice actors, as are James Arnold Tay\u00adlor<\/a> (Green Arrow) and John Di Mag\u00adgio<\/a> (Aqua\u00adman and Grodd).<\/p>\n

Rec\u00adom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtion:<\/em> Def\u00adi\u00adnite\u00adly rec\u00adom\u00admend\u00aded, 10 out of 10 spi\u00adrals, for the catchy music, well-done singing and orches\u00adtra\u00adtion, and most def\u00adi\u00adnite\u00adly for the sense of humor from all of the musi\u00adcal riffs from \u201cWest Side Sto\u00adry\u201d<\/em> to \u201cPhan\u00adtom of the Opera\u201d<\/em> to \u201cAmadeus\u201d<\/em> and the many musi\u00adcal cos\u00adtume changes from the Phan\u00adtom to mod 60\u2019s to a drum major\u2019s uni\u00adform to heavy metal.<\/p>\n
